Coronado Village

The Village of Coronado is a diamond in the rough. Not only is the real estate in Coronado diverse with a mix of old and new arcitechture, it is a community of people with a love for the city and commitment to the community. It is not uncommon to have 3 generations of families living only blocks from one another.

Over the past 20 years however, you have seen an influx of new residents moving to Coronado and calling Coronado their home. This has led to a significant increase to home values over the past 20 years, however this has also led to an increased tax base which has allowed the city of Coronado to invest in city services to support a growing population and better city services.

The Coroando Unified School District is considered one of the top public school systems in the state of California and has won numerous awards. In addition, over the past 15 years, the city has been able to renovate and build all new school buildings which has allowed the students to be surrounded by some of the newest academic facilities in the state. All levels of education offered by the city now have new buildings with the most advanced technology to offer to their students and all of these schools are in the village which allows students to walk or ride their bike to school.

Another result of the influx of new residents is the renovation and new construction of many homes in Coronado. There are a number of opinions which are debated among the community but one of the wonderful benefits of this new construction is that it has increased the the diversity of the real estate in the city. Everything from the renovation of old estates in the city to the development of "billy boxes", real estate in Coronado offers every type of house or home whcih may meet your needs be it a second home or a primary resident.
